"And your god is one God; there is no god except He" (Surah 2:163) – "In the name of God this dirham was struck in the city Balkh in the year 290" – "To Allah belongs the command ever before and ever after, and upon that day the believers will rejoice" (Surah 30:4)

Arabic inscription "For God; Mohammad is the messenger of God; al-Muktafi bi-Allah (Abbasid Caliph 902–908 CE); Isma’il bin Ahmad" – "Mohammad is the messenger of God and He sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that He might cause it to prevail over all religions, though the polytheists may be averse" (Surah 9:33)
